FIRE BLANKET FOR SCOOTERS WITH LITHIUM BATTERIES

The E-SCOOTER fire blanket for electric scooters is designed to contain flames and deflagrations from a lithium electric battery in case of a fire. It is also capable of containing smoke and impacts from materials originating from cell explosions. It is made of fibreglass fabric coated with a special polymer for high temperatures on both sides. This fabric is certified according to the UNE EN 13501 standard.

The fire blanket for scooters measures 4x4 meters and weighs approximately 7.5 kg. It incorporates 4 handles, one on each corner, to facilitate its handling and placement over the scooter in case of a fire. To ensure a safe intervention in the event of a battery fire, the participation of at least two people is recommended.

To transport and store it more safely, the fire-resistant blanket for electric batteries includes a waterproof carrying bag with a hermetic closure and handles.

The main purpose of this blanket, as a fire protection element against electric scooter battery fires, is to contain flames and prevent further damage in spaces where the safety of other people could be at risk. Its use offers numerous advantages compared to other systems such as extinguishers or water hoses:
